First of all, if you have been sent to this blog from a Ukrainian porn site, please go away. If you are the person or bot sending people here from a porn site, please find someone else to bother.
My challah is in the oven as I type this, and it will be baked just in time for candle lighting. Because it's a bit chilly and Shabbat starts early, the loaves will have done their rising in a bit of a rush today.
It will be a tighter loaf than usual. I am sure that our guests will understand.

I think it looks pretty spiffy.
I ironed a batch of linens including this pretty fingertip towel. The quality of embroidery is just wonderful and would have been enough.
There was a revival of this work in the 1980's produced by rote in places that pay very little for handwork. This is not that kind of work. there were clever hands and a clever brain at work on this piece of linen.

Like nearly everything I do, it looks like the embodiment of chaos while in process and will be pretty good when completed.
Our chicken got cooked simply with fresh thyme and black pepper.
We will be eating blanched asparagus and a spiced cranberry cake for dessert.
Shabbat Shalom!
