One Completed Royal Feast

 

Earlier in the process, this was the wonkiest of the three challah covers.  Even the plaid red border looked like it may have been a big mistake.

 

It’s funny how a whole lot of not quite right can add up to a pretty nice piece.

As I finished this piece this line from Psalms kept running through my head.

אבן מאסו הבונים היתה לראשׁ פנה

The stone despised by the builders has become the cornerstone
