I like cardigans. I had bought this grey wool sweater for my husband at a thrift store. He didn’t like the way it felt on. So I claimed it.
This is how I turned it into a cardigan.
If you don’t care about the opening of your sweater being in the center front you can cut the opening wherever you like. I am not the boss of you.
This is the high tech fancy-pantsy way I figured out how to cut the front edging.
I sewed it to the sweater and top stitched the edging into place.
That’s it. It’s not rocket science.
Go forth and save a sweater from the sad fate of never being worn.
