I'm spending the week here in Boston with my mother. Today was a big cooking day. So far I have made a pot of chicken soup,17 portions of rolled beef, 21 portions of chicken in two different flavors.
I'm cooking a pot of barley and as soon as I'm done, it will be time to make kasha. Not bad for a days work.
I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup today! You are so good to cook for your mother like that. It must really mean a lot to her to have a variety of homemade meals to choose from.
ReplyDeleteIt does mean a lot to my mother. I am also glad that I can lighten the burden a bit for my sister who carries most of the responsibilities of caring for our mother.
